Overview

The Aortic Valve is one of the four cardiac valves that regulate blood flow through the heart. It separates the heart’s main pumping chamber, the left ventricle and the artery that supplies oxygenated blood to the body and to the vital organs.

When the aortic valve becomes diseased or is not working properly, it can cause symptoms relating to the heart such as difficulty of breathing and easy fatigability.

Your doctor or your cardiologist will offer aortic valve repair or replacement that can treat aortic valve disease and restore blood flow, hence reducing symptoms and preserving the normal function of the heart.
