Acute vs. Chronic Cholecystitis
Biliary Atresia
At least 4 hours Fasting required.
Please bring the following:
Previous exams (CT scan, MRI, Biopsy, Ultrasound) if any
Should not have had IV morphine or similar pain medication 4 hours prior to the study.
Corresponding amount of radioisotope will be forfeited in case of same day cancellation and/ or no show. The procedure is allowed to be rescheduled if the patient or relative informs the department two (2) days before the procedure.
RADIATION PRECAUTION: Please avoid close contact with pregnant women and children below 13 years of age for at least 24 hours.
Evaluation of thyroid malignancies.
At least 3 to 4 hours Fasting required.
